Emma + Jonny

Beautifully dressed in their inimitable style, Jonny + Emma’s kitchen is fresh and crisp, yet cheerfully inviting. The main cabinets are painted in Farrow & Ball’s Stony Ground, with the island and other accents in Farrow & Ball’s Dix Blue, all cabinets were given an aged finish to suit the design brief of ‘Farmhouse Kitchen’. The style of Emma + Jonny’s kitchen was strongly influenced by traditional country kitchens, and was designed to complement the traditional features and proportions of their renovated old cottage. Forgoing gimmicks and fads, Emma + Jonny wanted a kitchen that would stand the test of time both in style and quality. As a joiner, Jonny was impressed by details such as dovetailing and mortise and tenon joints that show quality craftsmanship, and Emma particularly liked the inclusion of a fitted window seat that cleverly doubles as storage.
